Found a grounded bat?
A grounded bat will almost certainly need help. Using gloves if you have them, or a cloth, carefully pick up the bat and place it into a secure, ventillated container (e.g. a large ice cream tub or a shoebox lined with kitchen paper or tissue). A small milk bottle lid or other shallow container filled with water should be added to rehydrate the bat. A cloth can also be added to allow the bat to crawl under if it wishes. Then call the BatLincs Helpline, so that your bat can be taken into care.
