Whether you are here because you are:
- a member of the public who has found a grounded bat and needs to know what to do with it,
- already a member looking for survey information, events to help with or old meeting minutes,
- a prospective new member hoping to find out what we do, when and where, and how to join us,
- someone who wants to find out more about the bat flying around their garden at night or to make their garden more bat-friendly.

Work Party day to put up Bat boxes at Great West Wood
09:30 am 28th March 2026
There are approximately 30 bat boxes of various designs that need to be put up in Great West Wood, near Wragby. There are some existing boxes already up in the wood and we will (weather permitting) take the opportunity to check them as well. Bat Group AGM
7:30 pm 30th March 2026
(in person at The Bull Hotel in Horncastle LN9 5HU)
All members of Lincolnshire Bat Group are invited to come along . There is a guest speaker – Laura Torrent the scientist who discovered the Bioko pipistrelle – the 1500th bat species. She will give a talk titled “What we have learned about Equatorial Guinea’s Bats – and what remains a mystery?”
